A Special Kind of Strain, Shattered Pantheon 5 (Novella WIP)
Strife is the son of Eris, goddess of discord, and nephew to Ares, god of war. When he fails in his attempts to kidnap the mortal mate of Apollo he decides to get out of town quick, but finds himself waylaid by a chance encounter with a woman with whiskey colored eyes. Unable to stop himself he watches from a distance unsure how to approach the object of his fascination.
Indica is a small business owner suddenly saddled with the father she hasn't seen since she was five. After over two decades he's suddenly back and talking nonsense on her doorstep. Will the old familial ties be enough for them to begin bridging the gap between them or is it just too much distance?
If there is one thing the Olympians and Titans have plenty of it's family dysfunction. This story leaves our couple trying to overcome everything from slowly bleeding to death to absentee fathers.
Update 10/11/21
This story has a rough draft complete! Thanks to life being the complicated mess it has become over the last two years it took way longer than I ever could've imagined.
*Note: The photo on this page fills me with pride since it is home-grown catnip. My sweet house panther Jazzy loves it and I think it looks lovely.
